AI Flow Configuration

Intelligent Requirements uses Lens workflows to generate and edit requirements with AI. Each workflow defines how AI should act in a process step, such as creating requirements, detailing backlog items, or suggesting improvements to generated content.

With this configuration, the organization can adapt Intelligent Requirements to its writing standard, project type, and selected provider.

When to use

  • Use AI flow configuration to define how requirements are generated.
  • Use it to control how generated items are refined or rewritten.
  • Use it when different projects or providers need different requirement structures.
  • Use it to align AI output with the organization's writing standard.

Before you start

  • Confirm which Lens workflows are available for Intelligent Requirements.
  • Confirm the project type and provider model that the flow should support.
  • Prepare the expected writing standard, level of detail, and output structure.
  • Test the configured flow before using it in important workspaces.

Step by step: configure the AI flow

  1. Review the Lens workflows available for requirement generation and editing.
  2. Select the workflow used to create requirements.
  3. Select the workflow used to refine or improve generated items when applicable.
  4. Align the flow with the provider structure used by the workspace.
  5. Test the generation and refinement behavior with representative project context.
  6. Adjust the workflow configuration when the output does not match the expected standard.

Expected result

The configured Lens workflows should guide Intelligent Requirements so generated and refined backlog items follow the organization's expected structure, language, and level of detail.
