API Providers Overview

Bottom line: AI Cockpit Reasoning, like any agentic AI coding tool, needs AI model providers to function. You can use our built-in provider (easiest) or connect your own API keys from 30+ providers.

Organization-Based Model Access​

When you sign in at app.aicockpit.ai, your available provider models are automatically filtered based on your organization membership. The models you can access depend on:

  • Your organization's subscriptions: Only models available to your organization will be listed
  • Organization permissions: Access is inherited from the organizations available in your user profile
  • Multi-organization support: If you belong to multiple organizations, you'll see models from all accessible organizations

This ensures you only see and can use models that your organization has access to, streamlining the provider selection process.
